Question by Beatleslover96: What are some good Gluten Free recipes?
My little brother has Asbergers Syndrome and he is on a no gluten and no milk diet. I always feel terrible eating food he can’t have in front of him (donuts, cookies, white bread etc.) does anyone know of some good recipes for me? Thank you!

Best answer:

Answer by Sugar Pie
Four-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix peanut butter, sugar, and eggs with wooden spoon until blended. Add chocolate chips. Drop by round teaspoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes. Turn sheet in oven and bake another 2-4 minutes. Don’t burn them for heavens sake. Let the cookies cool a bit before removing them from the sheet.

Q&A: Have any ideas on Gluten free recipes?

Question by smiley:): Have any ideas on Gluten free recipes?
I have to eat only Gluten free for a month to figure out if I am allergic to gluten ..doc orders so I am asking if anyone has any good recipes that I can get ?

Answer by Maggie M
I have tons of them, I am gluten-free. If you are only doing it for a month it’s probably easiest to just stock up on GF products. Whole Foods has an excellent line of GF breads, waffles, even muffins and cakes. Betty Crocker has GF cake and muffin mixes now that Wal-Mart carries along with many regular grocery stores. Bob’s Red Mill has a bunch of great GF flours and mixes; you can find them in most large grocery stores or online. I make pancakes all the time, substituting rice flour for the white flour.

A warning: read labels extremely carefully. Gluten/wheat is used in so many things you wouldn’t even think of: frostings, almost all canned soups (even those with no noodles), almost all spice mixes (the pre-packaged starters like taco seasoning, chili starter, etc.). However, delightfully, lots of children’s cereals are made with rice and corn and are therefore okay to eat!

If you’re looking for a specific recipe, do a Google search. GF is a very common lifestyle these days and it’s not too hard to find what you want. Much of the food is more expensive but not hard to find. Also, feel free to message me if you want more info. Always happy to help!
