My mind is absolutely blank and I have the pleasure of cooking for a gentleman soon.

I usually try to give someone three recipes to choose from, but as you can see, there are so many recipes on the web that it’s impossible for me to do that here. But what to eat? That’s the question! To me, steak and lobster are both romantic, and so is roasted pork tenderloin prepared with fruit or a fruit sauce. I also think pork appeals to men, at least to the one I’m married to. If I prepared pork tenderloin with a fruit sauce, I would serve buttered rice sprinkled with parsley so the rice would absorb some of the sauce. Sauteed fresh corn would be wonderful with that, or fresh green beans. If I served steak or roast beef, I would have mashed potatoes and gravy and the same veggies as with the pork. For dessert, I’d make a strawberry pie or cake. Or, if I made something chocolate or something else for dessert, I’d try to find time to dip some strawberries in chocolate to nibble on after the meal. They’re fresh and sweet now, and what could be more rromantic than those?!! (You could feed them to him!) I would definitely serve champagne (or Prosecco is cheaper) with dessert.
